Most of the Alpenflage helmet covers you see online today are the more common 4-hook style made to fit the M71 helmet. These earlier 5 hook covers are very rare!
This cover is in mint unissued condition. The colors are vibrant, and the fabric is clean with no signs of wear, tears, or fading. It's a perfect piece to complete a M18/40 helmet or for a collection. It fits both A or B shell sizes.
